Custom cabinet maker expands

AWD of Savannah, 22 West Bryan St., has announced its second expansion in the 2012 fiscal year and added four employees.

The 1,600-square-foot expansion brings the total facility to 6,400 square feet.

“We believed the first expansion in mid-January would be sufficient to accommodate the growth during 2012. However, it became evident mid-year that we’d have to expand and upgrade our finishing facilities to properly meet the demands of our clientele,” said owner Harley Ashbaugh. “The new team members are essential in order for AWD to uphold our high quality standards and support future growth.”

AWD does customized woodworking and cabinetry.
