SAVANNAH MARITIME COMMUNITY DONATES TO RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
OF THE COASTAL EMPIRE
Savannah maritime community leaders Ben Goldberg, JIT Warehousing and Logistics; Larry Hearn, Savannah River Logistics and Billy Robinson of Port City Logistics presented a $1,000 donation to Executive Director Bill Sorochak, staff and board members at the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire on Dec. 22. The Savannah Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families who live more than 30 miles away and who have a critically ill or injured child receiving treatment at Memorial Children’s Hospital, Candler Hospital or where needed in the Coastal Empire.
