Duties: Hebron is responsible for directing new student orientation and enrollment, the development of recruitment strategies and promotion the academy’s core values. She is also responsible for introducing post-secondary possibilities and opportunities to students and assisting them in establishing long-term goals and plans.
Related experience: Hebron was director of institutional effectiveness and college and career coordinator at Bethesda Academy.
Education: Hebron earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a M.Ed. in higher education and community leadership from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
LAMAR L. HILL

Duties: Hill will encourage and foster students’ intellectual curiosity and achievement through challenging and creative science curriculum. He will also serve as the Bethesda Blazers’ new defensive back and wide receiver coach.
Related experience: Hill served as a paraprofessional in the Savannah-Chatham County public school system where he was responsible for modifying students’ daily curriculum. He also served as a youth advocate for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers’ after-school program at various Chatham County schools assisting students in strengthening their math and reading skills.
Education: Hill earned a B.L.A and Georgia teaching certification from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
CRAIG A. SHERMAN

JEFF KREIDE

Duties: Kreide is responsible for all final-phase engineering activities in Savannah and has dotted-line responsibilities for engineering at Gulfstream’s Appleton, Dallas and Long Beach final-phase manufacturing facilities.
Related experience: A 32-year Gulfstream employee, Kreide previously served as the vice president of business solutions.
Education: Kreide earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Horne named to Georgia Legal Services Foundation board
Kathleen Horne, a partner at the law firm of Bouhan Falligant, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Georgia Legal Services Foundation Inc. As a board member, Horne will provide direction and assistance to continue to build out the Foundation’s endowment fund which serves as the permanent stable source of support for the Georgia Legal Services Program.
Carter institute recognizes Senior Citizens, Inc. staffers
Tarlessa Edwards, activity director at Senior Citizens Inc.’s Ruth Byck Adult Daytime Care Center, and Roberta Williams, senior companion at SCI, were recently recognized by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving.
Edwards was awarded the Coastal Georgia Caregiver Network Regional Paraprofessional of the Year Award.
Williams was named Coastal Georgia Volunteer Caregiver of the Year.
