Habitat Savannah to dedicate its 126th home

Savannah’s Habitat for Humanity, along with its homeowner families, partners and volunteers, will mark the purchase of a Habitat Savannah home by the newest homeowners, the Foster family, on March 8.

A brief dedication ceremony at 1 p.m. at 1509 Reynolds St. will conclude with the transfer of the home’s keys to the family.

Oyster roast business connection set for March 13

The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce’s 15th annual Oyster Roast Business Connection will be held March 13 at Tubby’s Tank House in Thunderbolt.

The event, sponsored by Ambos Seafoods, AT&T, Choate Construction, L&L Broadcasting, Thomas & Hutton and TJS Deemer Dana LLP, runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Real estate firm extends franchise agreement

Sperry Van Ness|GASC, a commercial real estate firm with offices in Savannah and Hilton Head, S.C., has announced the extension of its franchise agreement with Sperry Van Ness International Corporation as well as the addition of new partners Michael Bone, Adam Bryant and Vonnie Majewski who join current partners Jim Bryant, Tom DeMint and senior advisor Bill Bosley.

Bone specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial, office and investment properties in the Savannah market; Bryan includes Effingham County in his area of interest and Majewski specializes in the Beaufort and Jasper county markets in South Carolina.
