Georgia Tech Professional Education open interviews for veterans, transitioning military

Georgia Tech Professional Education’s Veterans Education, Training and Transition (VET2) program will hold an interview and information workshop for veterans and transitioning military. The interviews are for potential job placement through the VET2 program with an employer in Brunswick, Ga. This session will provide an overview of the VET2 program, resume screening and coaching on interview techniques. Qualified applicants may be asked to continue the interview process with the employer who has partnered with the program for the March VET2 class.

Todd Fiscus to speak to wedding industry professionals

Todd Fiscus of Dallas-based, Todd Events, will be sharing his industry insights with area event professionals. Todd Events produces over 250 events annually including weddings, charity galas and corporate celebrations around the country.

Savannah Toastmasters announce Speechcraft course for women

The four-session Speechcraft course will meet each Tuesday morning in March to boost professional women’s skills for communicating effectively, planning and delivering speeches and presentations, and improving impromptu speaking. Experienced members of three Savannah area Toastmasters clubs will teach and mentor course participants. Speechcraft is designed by the renowned Toastmasters International organization, global leader in public speaking education.
