Jane Vaden Thacher, on behalf of the 480 Vaden Automotive employees, presented a check for $5,000 to Lynn Gensamer, executive director of the Humane Society for Greater Savannah.
The donation was generated by the four Savannah locations of the Vaden Automotive Group: Dan Vaden Chevrolet-Cadillac, Vaden Nissan, Coastal Chevrolet and Vaden Volkswagen. From the first of November through the end of the year, the dealerships donated $25 for each test drive and $1 for each Facebook post of an area pet.
All eight Vaden dealerships participated, raising more than $12,000 total for their local humane societies. Each Vaden dealership also collected items from their local humane society’s’ “Wish List”. Vaden has dealerships in Savannah, Statesboro, Hinesville, Brunswick and Beaufort, S.C.
