Goodwill of the Coastal Empire opened a new Job Connections Center Friday in remodeled space in its headquarters at 7220 Sallie Mood Drive.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new center were held to mark the opening of the center, which is Goodwill’s 10th in the region.
The center offers help with resume writing, interviewing skills, health and wellness education, financial literacy and other classes. Career fairs and other networking opportunities are open to the public.
Free computer and Internet access enable applicants to view job postings and submit their job history online.
