Company: Austin Hill Realty

Duties: Hill will oversee all company operations, foster team and company growth and continue to deliver state-of-the-art real estate services in the coastal Georgia region.

Related work experience: Hill’s experience includes the marketing and sale of residential, commercial and investment real estate properties throughout the coastal Georgia region, plus seven years in Nashville working with French Christianson Patterson & Associates. He most recently served as the director of operations at Cora Bett Thomas Austin Hill & Associates and CBT Commercial Realty

Education: Hill is a graduate of Stetson University.

JAMIE RAYNOR

New job title: Director of annual giving

Company: Armstrong Atlantic State University

Duties: Raynor will streamline and grow the annual giving program, including campaigns for faculty/staff, alumni, community friends, businesses, parents and senior students.

Related work experience: Raynor worked at USC Aiken on the academic side for several years and in alumni relations. She also worked at Colorado Mountain College as the director of development, focusing on annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and grants procurement and management.

Education: Raynor holds a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in educational technology from USC Aiken.

ERICA MOORE NEET

Duties: Neet is responsible for cultivating relationships in assigned divisions to convey the message of United Way throughout the year.

Related work experience: Neet has over five years of experience working at United Way of the Central Savannah River Area in Augusta in the marketing and campaign departments.

Education: Neet earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia.

WENDY WILLIBY

Company: The 5 Spot Neighborhood Kitchen & Bar

Duties: In her new position, Williby will oversee the daily operations of The 5 Spot, including management of staff, marketing and special events.

Related work experience: Williby served as the general manager of Abe’s on Lincoln. Her restaurant experience also includes leadership and management roles at Vic’s on the River and Alligator Soul. She spent several years as a technical recruiter for engineering at Gulfstream Aerospace.

Education: Williby studied English at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

ALANA BLOCKER

VICKI CARTER

Duties: Carter will have operational and leadership responsibility for the Savannah office for both the private client and personal lines practice. She will cover Georgia, South Carolina and the Greater Jacksonville area.

Related work experience: Carter has 30 years in the personal insurance industry. Most recently she worked at Wells Fargo Insurance.

Education: Shamseddine holds a BAS in management and organization leadership from Saint Petersburg College.

JON MANGUM

Duties: Mangum is responsible for overseeing retail operations at Parker’s locations throughout Georgia and South Carolina.

Related work experience: Mangum served as retail operations manager for Stinker Stores in Boise, Idaho, where he oversaw retail operations for 60 stores and five branded fast-food restaurants and managed marketing and fuel pricing.

Lawyer honored

Attorney Robert F. “Bob” Pirkle received Sigma Chi’s Significant Sig National Award on June 29 at the fraternity’s 79th Grand Chapter in Washington, D.C. The award, introduced in 1935, is considered the fraternity’s highest award and is given to a fraternity member who has excelled in his field of study, occupation or community involvement.
