Duties: Denmark’s responsibilities will include assisting the Director of Engineering in administering capital improvement projects, assisting in construction, contracts and property management, and direction and oversight of staff and engineering crews.
Related work experience: Denmark has been with the commission since July 1992 where he gained professional and practical experience in the Engineering Department.
Education: Denmark attended Armstrong Atlantic State University.
ROSEMARIE SUTTON
New job title: General manager

Duties: Sutton will oversee building operations and will be responsible for driving performance and insuring safety throughout building.
Related work experience: Sutton joined Target in June 2005 as an inbound group leader. She was promoted to a store team leader and later promoted to senior group leader at a distribution center.
Education: Sutton has a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.
MATTY HARTLEY
New job title: Business loan officer
Company: Small Business Assistance Corporation
Duties: Hartley will originate, evaluate and underwrite commercial loan applications and ensure lending conformance with the SBAC and funding regulatory compliance.
Related work experience: Hartley brings 20-plus years in banking, as well as being a small business owner.

Real estate agent earns designation
Ron Melander of Keller Williams Realty Savannah Downtown and Keller Williams Luxury Homes International has earned the Certified International Property Specialist designation, placing him among 2,000 elite real estate professionals worldwide. The designation was awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® for completing rigorous coursework devoted to learning international real estate practices and demonstrating proficiency in international business.
Savannah man honored
Georgia Secretary of State, Brian P. Kemp, recently proclaimed Savannah native Lester Lec’k White as an Outstanding Georgia Citizen for his unselfish religious and humanitarian service in the plight to saving the city’s young people, poor, hungry and homeless from the perils of society. Chatham County Commission Chairman Al Scott also awarded White with a Certificate of Appreciation plaque.
Vice president to retire
Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services announces the retirement of Vice President Charles Flowers with more than 30 years of credited service. Flowers and his team secured more than $100 million in annual revenues while employing more than 200 engineers, analysts and support staff at seven office locations throughout the United States, Egypt and Pakistan.
